Is it hype or the real deal?
The hotel beautifully preserves its 1909 architecture and original artwork. Great breakfast options and helpful staff enhance the experience in this unique setting.
Noise at night was disruptive. my window did not close properly letting in street sounds. A more restful sleep would have improved my overall stay.

gorgeous historical building, large bathrooms, charming architectural elements
Could improve the door lock functionality!!! Hall lighting seeping in through windowed doors was disruptive!!! Limited bar food options felt inconvenient!!! Electrical outlets in the room were sparse!!! Fitness center too small!!!

I loved staying in the Standard King Room. the blackout shades were a game changer for a good night's sleep, and the hot shower was super refreshing! The hotel offered a cozy lounge and a lovely patio area to relax in between my adventures. It was a bummer that the balcony doors wouldn’t open for the view, but I still had a great time overall. 😊

One night we had a good breakfast that included unique options I didn't expect! kids loved exploring the artful decor throughout the building, every corner had a story.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain given the price but all things considered, it felt reasonable.
